I'm a wood sprite
apparently. =/ whatev. Dressed up and put on make-up because it's disgusting outside. All grey and rain and dirty puddles. So if the weather wasn't going to make me happy, I felt like something ought to. Sometimes when I dress up, I collect cat-calls. It was a pretty good day.
But I liked what the sky and the reflections did to the glass of the office buildings in ballston; it was pretty.
Gave my presentation and it went pretty well, i think. I was unusually nervous, but it happens. I had to stand up in order to use the computer equipment and show clips of the bangumi i was analyzing for class, but in the end they didn't have the right codecs and I, as a mere user, didn't have the authority to download them. So I just ended up standing up and feeling dumb.
Semantics was shorter than usual--or prof is in like, iceland, or somewhere equally um. north. So the other semantics prof subbed (she's actually not a bad teacher at all, despite the rumors) and our class was smarter than the other class (joudan!) and got it faster, so she let us out early.
Tonight I have lofty lofty transcription plans.
But since I made it through today, i think the rest of the week will be good, almost. maybe.
And I feel like stuff worth talking about happened, but i can't remember them.
