control is so fleeting
Does anyone have the willpower to eat only 15 cheezits? i do not.
I can eat only one potato chip (oh, the power of spite. it runs so strong in these veins). But cheezits, they just keep flowing. I should not have bought them in the first place.
why do my nails always break after i cut them?

So my host grandmother died. she was. really really old. i don't know. it's probably easier on everyone, i guess, even if it is sad, just because she was really really not very mobile and senile and stuff. Sometimes she'd ask who the hell the strange foreigner (me) was more than once at the same meal.
i wonder how tou-san is taking it. his mother was really important to him because his father died when he was a baby so she raised him by herself.
but my host sister-in-law is apparently going to have a baby. She's been wanting one, so that's kind of cool.
Curry is such an overwhelming flavor. and tasty~
I made the nikujaga-esq thing into curry today, and it's good! definitely the tastiest thing I've had in a while that I've made myself. I am so pleased. Even if it is entirely the fault of the pre-packaged curry flavor cube thing i dropped in the pot.
Went to Chinatown today to do semantics. For once i was on the good side of public-transit planning (which i typically refer to as the Theory of Whichever Direction You Want To Go, The Busses Are Going The Other Way). And this time it only took about 2 hours (dude. why? not that i'm complaining about this week), so since I was already in chinatown, and the weather was nice (perfect early fall weather), I went shopping.
Bought a pair of cute shoes I don't need. But they were cute and on sale. And some sock-type things. And. maybe i won't eat for a while, but, I think i'm ok with it.

eta: AND I JUST FOUND ALL MY MISSING CLOTHES! they were in the dryer.
