i hate Christmas Graduation parties
they're fun for the first half hour or so, but then I just get bored. It probably helps that as these are the crop of graduates in my sister's year, I simply don't know anyone. They're all too young.
So Alec and I went out to see Shrek 3 the other night. It was a fun movie. Went to see the third Pirates of the Carribean today with my family. I was really disappointed with the ending. I don't recommend it in the slightest. And why did they cut his heart out and put it in the box? There was really no reason for that. It wasn't part of the original deal Jones made; it was what he did after he had his little heart broken. So why the heart in the box again? Did they just figure, 'well, there's been a heart in a box for so long, it just doesn't seem right that there shouldn't be one anymore. And no one will notice anyway.' or something?
We've (the jianjian and I) decided to adopt Mrs. Troeger. An extra mother (or five) never hurts.
Yesterday was Ashley M's birthday. I got a call from Mere at 5:30 pm saying that if I could (despite the rather short notice) then meet at her house at 6 and we'd all go out to dinner at the Alpha. I had chili; it was pretty good.
Then, because it was a birthday (though I didn't realize it was going to be such a complicated affair) we went over to a bar [Generations to iu. Apparently, it's got a pretty bad reputation. or maybe only used to? something like that]
3 shots: B-52, Chocolate Cake, and Slippery Nipples.
Then over to River City because the birthday girl wanted to dance. It only kinda worked because the music was shit. But i guess it happens. Ran into Mike Clemmens. He got fat.
Being in Wheeling is really weird sometimes. I don't see any of the faces I expect to see (because they've all gone and graduated from Georgetown) and I see a lot of faces I haven't seen in years or ever thought to miss.
Nic's graduation party today. meh. I ate a couple of hotdogs. All by myself. In really really tiny bites.
Annie and I misbehaved. that was kinda fun. I shoved the jianjian off a railing, and so she chucked jello at me.
