boredom
10 years ago: I was losing my religion, starting to skate, about to change schools.
5 years ago: I was graduating from high school, getting back together with an ex, falling out of the punk rock scene.
1 year ago: I acquired my first 'real' job, weighed 30 pounds or so less.
Yesterday: Patch day. Took my car into the shop. Cursed my wrists.
Tomorrow: Hopefully I get my car back with the airbag fixed, if not I have to take it to a dealer. More work. Less sleep.
5 snacks I enjoy: Dunkin' Sticks, Peanut (Butter) M&Ms, Cheese, Yogurt-covered Almonds/Raisins, Black Tea with Milk and Sugar.
5 bands/artists that I know the lyrics to most of their songs: None to be honest, but up there are The Mars Volta, The Dresden Dolls, Tool. I tend to listen to music and not lyrics.
5 favorite toys: Piano, Fender American Deluxe Jazz Bass, Sidekick 3, Black iPod Nano with Black Ultimate Ears super.fi 5 Pros (say no to iPod white), Computer.
5 things I would do with a $100,000,000: Mercedes McLaren SLR, call up my friend Jack and have him design us houses and get them built (ultra post-modern for the win), invest mostly in real-estate, build my own recording studio (it would be part of the house design), school (Berklee College of Music to study Synthesis and Production/Engineering, private instrument instruction [Cello, Piano, Bass, Sax, Vocal, etc...], taking classes without caring about passing them).
5 locations I would like to run away to: Europe, Down Under, Japan, India, Brazil.
5 bad habits I have: Laziness, using my hands/wrists excessively, buying top-of-the-line when average will do, dreaming, smoking.
5 things I like doing: Friends, music, poker, middle of the night driving, cuddling when I am able to.
5 t.v. shows I like: No Reservations, A Cook's Tour, Good Eats, Miami Ink, Prison Break.
5 movies I like: Clerks 2, Amelie, Love Actually, Fight Club, Braveheart (the soundtrack is so good).
5 famous people I would like to meet: I'd like Brian Transeau to show me around his studio and teach me his ways, Danny Carey to teach me how to play drums and be dedicated to a craft, Amanda Palmer to teach me piano and song-writing and emotional awareness, John Coltrane to teach me how to play Sax and reach different planes of reality, and Jennifer Connelly to teach me how to lust ;P.
5 biggest joys at the moment: Dreams of being able to do the things I love without hand/wrist/arm pain, having the money to do just about anything social I want and pay for friends if they can't afford it, having the friends to do said social things with, working with awesome people, music.
