I have a ticket for the NME Brats tour!
[EDIT] Crikey o'reilly, I just had a look at eBay and aside from some pairs of tickets going for over £100, over half the item titles mention Arctic Monkeys and Arctic Monkeys only, and they aren't even headlining!! Crazy, crazy; they're the worst band in the line-up, frankly. Ugh, I hate hysteria, and I hate that it led to me generally shitting bricks this morning whilst waiting for the ticket shop to open with some middle-aged men then getting inside to find horribly ringing phones. In fact, THIS happened:
Woman employee #1: *generally answering phones and selling NME tickets*
Woman employee #2: Stop! Stop! Stop answering the phones and selling tickets, we only got a few and I don't know how many we have left!
*deadly silence in the small shop that is filled by me and four men*
Woman employee #2: *counts* Ah, it's okay, we have eighteen left.
Everyone: *massive sigh*
So I have a single ticket as a result of spending an hour prowling around town this morning waiting for a queue to form so I could leap into it rather than just hang around like a bit of a saddo. Damn you, Alex Turner and all your 'fans'.
