Had fun on Saturday, the gig was great, them we all ended up at a rave, quite funny really a group of us who always go to a rock club at a rave, even funnier were the fact that half the people there were teachers we were all sat around discussing when our next police check's were due and how much shit we would be in if the police decided to raid ( Read more... )

**Off to do baking, Charlotte's school have a cake fair tomorrow and i've been roped in to make loads of fairy cakes. **

Please take a moment to educate the ignorant. What IS that, is it like a cupcake? It sounds devine. I love the sound of "fairy cake."

I hope the "date" with Charlotte and her friend went well!

glad someone asked about the fairy cake. that is cool!

i get into wondering about smell and taste too. obviously, we know they are connected since if you have a cold and you can't smell food doesnt taste as good

But then i go all cerebral (or weird or obsessive, take your pick) and start thinking. okay, if smell is just a chemical reaction and it must be molecules that your nose is smelling right and if molecules are reacting with your body then doesnt' that mean your body is taking them in? doesn't that mean that you COULD be taking in calories that you dont' know about? and hey, they've never done a study on this right? so how do they KNOW that we aren't taking in calories? of course, i chickend out and never actually took chemistry. maybe if did i would understand more. a little knowledge can be a dangerous thing. Okay, i am going to stop filling up your email now. or at least for today :)
