My bank used to offer a free text messaging service, where your balance was sent to your mobile phone.
They started charging £2.50 for this service, and if a letter advising me of this was ever sent out to me, I never received it.
It was the day before payday. I had no money. The bank charged me £2.50 for my text message. I went over drawn.
After an epic battle of long words and dirty skirmishes, they conceded my point and refunded me the £30 admin charge for going over drawn, plus the £2.50 text message fee as good will.
Small or not, it’s a victory and I am pleased :o)
