Watching all the things - Body of Proof

After the very goods that well have our favorite actor on TV in January for at least 3 weeks and even more after the 2 great on-set pictures that we got last week I become interested on BoP as a series. After realizing that it’s the kind of series that I normally enjoy - as I watch like more than 10 procedurals every week and two of my favorites are Bones and Castle - watching this became a must.

So, I went looking for the list of episodes and even if initially I planned on watching it after finishing DS9 and advancing with Dr. Who - I ended up starting it friday night. Again, the plan was to watch one episode, get a feel for the series and then postpone the rest for winter break.

But like the saying goes the plan from home and the reality from the market are two different things. The fact is that I became charmed by the characters. I love Dana Delaney’s character - she is so troubled, she tries so much to make amends for acts from so long ago.

And I like Peter - I know that he is supposed to be the end game as Megan’s love interest but I like him for more than that. He is considerate and I adored the scene with his sisters and the one where he shows Lacey the latin inscription.

The two guys (doctors) from the lab are just adorable in a very geeky way. Then the so called love triangle with the ex-husband and the boss is just sort of ridiculous.

And I do like the kid- she acts normal for her age, well except for the part about those shoes.

All in all I watched like 17 episodes in 1 and a half days - and I really enjoyed it. If you like the genre - procedural with lots of character drama  - I really recommend it. I only have one problem  - for the first time in my life I was affected by spoilers - I could not get attached to the FBI guy that Megan sort of dated for a couple of episodes. Because, well…. I knew from the get-go that he will not remain in the picture for so long.

Well, that’s it. I would like to know if somebody else watched/is watching/intends to watch the series. Maybe when we have time we can speak about it a little?

I’ll end this with the obvious

Credits for the picture are going of course to Corey Miller
