Yule and NYE
I reckon I won't be writing much about my Yule, since I got sick soon afterwards, and not a whole lot happened anyway. It's never very large or exciting -- just Ariann, Gina, Gina's mom & grandmother, and myself.
Well, mom and gma got two new German Shepherd puppies, and that made it a little more exciting than usual. So.
Anyway, it's never been a big production -- just tamales and chili, which has some special Christmassy significance I can't quite recall just now. Ariann wanted to pass out gifts, which happened for a while, but she gave up upon realising we'd be there for the rest of the day.
As for right now, well, I'm tired. As I said, I got sick shortly after Christmas. I've been sleeping pretty straight for two or three days. I feel better today; we got out and had a good dinner at the Olive Garden, courtesy of my birthmom.
So before I turn into a pumpkin again, I wanted to say: Everybody gets a Happy New Year from me, on the house, coming early just in case I pass out!
