This is to update my
prior post about gay marriage in California.
Apparently, in a stroke of good news, gay marriages are now legal in Connecticut. I
saw it on Yahoo.
File that one under "when one door closes, another one opens up."
And if I may be allowed to quote George Clooney, a little actor some of you may be familiar with: "At some point in our lifetime, gay marriage won't be an issue. Everyone who stood against this civil right will look as outdated as George Wallace standing on the school steps keeping James Hood from entering the University of Alabama because he was black."
Only the difference isn't quite so obvious. Certainly, I wonder if there is really that much difference at all.
