How about people in the Houston/Galveston area on TV, complaining that there's no gasoline for their generators, but they're out driving around to gawk at storm damage? Those same type of people less than 24 hours after Ike hit, complaining that they needed food and ice and electricity when they didn't heed the mandatory evacuation orders and didn't bother to prepare to shelter in place? Then there are those who chose to shelter in place & were prepared for themselves, but are physically incapable of assisting others, yet they insist on clogging up the already impassable streets by going out to "check on friends"- which means they will foist themselves as "visitors" upon someone as bad off or worse than they are.
Post-hurricane behavior pisses me off. It's wasteful, albeit in an oblique way.
