a postcard from the hedge

Far be it from me to complain much about anything. I've tried to cut that out of my life; I've been moderately successful and the the quality of said life has gone up quite a bit as a result. As Something To Do Before You Die, I would recommend it to anyone, really ( Read more... )

Chocolate is good. Unfortunately, the suggestions that come to my mind are all based on switching gears as I'm one of those 'a change is almost as good as a vacation' types. :-/

As to where have I been, what have I been doing? Fencing and sweating, sweating and fencing. :) You and Ariann should take up fencing. Really. :)

yeah, there's a fencer I've hooked up with on plurk. She's let me know of a school or two. Now I just need to choose between fencing and aikido :)

And change, hell -- I'm still trying to effect the FIRST career change.

Cool! Either option will be good, just to be doing something physical to help offset the needle-in-a-haystack days. :)

The important word is 'trying' -- if we stop trying, we tend to stop altogether and that's not much good.

Hey there!

I bought a house with Rae. We moved in a month ago and things are going really well. I should write an entry so people know what's up with me, but I don't even have my own computer set up at home yet and have had no time. Hence, the delay in writing this response- I'm just reading your entry now. Lots and lots of stuff going on in all areas of my life. Some good, some bad. But it's my samsara and I'm find nirvana within it all.

Peace!

good for you! It's nice to hear from you every now and then. I'm glad things are going so well for you.

Did you manage to sell that other house?

I'll write a detailed (friends-locked) entry soon. I promise. It's really freaking me out that someone is stalking my friends' list and commenting anonymously on a friend's 3-day-old post to which I had replied. Only a very few people know the name of my town.
