Obligatory bit of context, for those that might not know already: I currently reside in Austin, Texas.
What the hell happened? I don't know enough to know.
Clinton won both Texas and Ohio, in a very close race (51% to 49, as I'm looking at CNN election results).
Obama won the major urban areas in Texas, such as Austin, Houston and Dallas. Clinton got everything else, like Amarillo, El Paso, San Antonio, Lubbock, etc etc etc. I passed through El Paso a time or two, but the only other Texas city I've really been to is San Antonio, so I don't really know how big those are.
The race is so close, though, that the caucuses still might tip the balance for Obama. As of this writing, only 36% of those had reported in.
Makes me glad I stayed for my precinct caucus, which showed in favor of Barack nearly 2 to 1. And I signed up to be a delegate for him at the County Convention, which is the day after my birthday (29th of this month).
How can anyone see or hear his message of hope and not be moved? I've seen the Clinton ads and such -- not moving to me.
What the hell happened?
