I just signed up as a potential volunteer on Barack Obama's website.
I also signed up on the community at http://my.barackobama.com .
I don't believe I'm doing this.
In case you're interested in knowing how I came to do this: I made a comment overf on deyaniera's journal that I didn't know much about his foreign policy platform. I agree wholeheartedly that we need to take care of our own backyard first and foremost, but America also can't just pull completely back from her current foreign entanglements. That would leave a vacuum that would likely be filled ... most unpleasantly.
So she provided a link to said foreign policies. I went there, read them, and it all went downhill from there.
So who among you has any campaign experience? This is the first time I've volunteered for such a thing. I don't know what to expect, really.
