It occurs to me that some people may think something I am doing is stupid or vain. But quickly on the heels of that thought comes the counter-thought that what I am doing is rather useful, and has a purpose.
My brain works fairly well despite the fact of my head injury, but it may not work quite this well in the future. I really don't know. I may get hit with early onset Alzheimers, or a thousand other things.
Boy Scout's Motto: Be prepared. (Yes, I was a Boy Scout, back in the day.)
I know what I'm doing isn't going to replace me or anything like that.
I'm creating a Wiki for myself -- an outboard brain, if you will, a repository for all the information and sheer tonnage of stuff that clogs my brain on a regular basis. It's going to have facts, snippets, things I do, things I like, quotations that resonate with me, techniques I use, that sort of thing. It might also get serial numbers and the like, if I can figure out how to password-protect certain pages.
Right now I'm working on my interests. To wit:
- Design
- Games
- Internet
- Music
- Reading
- Social
- Writing

There've been some ... mean people on my journal in the past, and i don't yet want to pass out thr URL. If you'd just like to say something, please feel free to do so, as always.
