Why is he chasing me?

I'd just like to know ... why is Oliver Sacks chasing me?

The famous neurologist penned Awakenings in 1973, rereleased in 1990. I have the book; I bought it after I was touched by the movie of the same name, but it is pretty dense prose and I've glanced through but never read it ( Read more... )

I'd love to get some mail/news from you. I miss you too.

Sounds like the Great Whatever has something in mind for you to look at. Maybe the playlist will be #3 if nursechrissy's count is off. (But then, I've never been one for counting the times something crops up. If it keeps popping up, especially in unexpected places or times, I figure there's a reason for it.) I'm kind of thinking there might be something in the playlist though, considering your recent JMJ post. Just thinkin' out loud, of course....

no problem; I appreciate your thinking out loud.

And maybe you're right. Maybe that playlist is the key. There might be something on it that blows my doors off. I know that rediscovering JMJ did. Did you visit his websites? Amazing.

It means you should finish that article and book. Or maybe not. Some of my best ideas are sparked by things like that, then I deliberately avoid them so that I don't get sidetracked from my own interpretation or wherever that spark is going to lead me.
