Work is cool.
I got a bad case of brain drain yesterday -- information overload. That was the hardest my brain has worked in some time -- so it makes sense to me. Today is much better; I've had a few 'a-ha!' moments where things started gelling, and I've been able to solve users' problems on my own without resorting to ask other techs.
So it's all looking great! I'm so happy to be working again, making money that appears regularly, and so on.
Also, for those that may be concerned: I can do pretty much whatever I want when I'm not on a call. I can write, or draw, or browse LJ, or chat, or whatever. When I'm on a call, though, they epxect me to do nothing but be on that call ... and I can live with that.
Lovely tech-support stories coming ... like the lady that just called who was chewing in my ear. Eww!
