Had Tuesday off. The first part was kind of slow. I nodded off again Monday night with the damn television on. Sigh, must try to stop doing that, complete waste of electricity. I really ought to crawl into bed and try reading, that way if I nod off I'll only end up leaving a lamp on instead of a lamp and the TV.
I finished vacuuming the house since I had done everything except for the family room and the living room the other day before going to work. Jean is becoming more difficult about taking her medicine, but I think Wednesday's doses should take care of it.
James worked early and even after being kept an hour over by his boss he was at my house around three-thirty. He had bought Shrek on DVD and we watched some of the special features on that. The one that lets you make The Gingerbread Man look like different things and he sings nursery songs like twinkle, twinkle little star is kind of creepy. I was feeling particularly bored and antsy so we dashed off in the evening to try to make it to the seven-twenty showing of "Harry Potter 3." Oooooo...that was cool! I have my problems with it, but it was still a very satisfying adaption, I think. They could have left out a few shots of the whacking tree and then they could have included someone explaining to Harry who Prongs, Padfoot, etc., were. Bah! That was an important detail! James is of the opinion the young actors are getting too old to play the characters. I don't know, I still quite like them, but if it takes a while for them to start production on "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" they might be a little too old to convincingly play fourteen year olds. After the movie got out we were both hungry so we dashed off to Chilis for a late bite to eat. It was nice getting out of the house and going out with James, since we haven't been able to see much of each other the last couple of weeks.
