hunger is a daily thing for me
Man I got a full schedule this semester. Of course I'm the queen of overloading myself, though I think it will be good, since I was totally fucking up this past year, it's nice to start the year out new and fresh and all that bullshit.
So I work at Marshalls (at the downey landing) about 25-30 a week (I finally got a day off today. I've been working straight since oh New Year's Day..pretty exhausting let me tell you).
I also have 12 units. 3 classes at Cerritos and an online math class at Golden West.
And I also work for L.A. Weekly doing promotions street team shit. it's a paid 10/hr internship so thanks to diona for that shit. Got the job on the spot last week. It's not writing, but hey, it's getting my ass in the door, so contacts and networking and all that is what matters a lot to me right now.
And...I'm still freelancing for Marked music magazine. I have two albums to review, but haven't gotten around to it with all this effin work and the internet at home has eaten shit. So I have "Fasination" by Monsters are Waiting..they have this alternative 80's pop feel to them. And then the other one, forgot what it's called but the band is called Teddybears..they have that song on indie 103 called "punkrockers" with iggy pop. yeah they are just electronica, they are pretty rad.
anyway im in the journalist room..wow haven't said that in awhile since I stopped going to cerritos for an entire year. One more semester baby, and for reals this time and im done with jc.
