He couldn't help but read the letter over again as he sat in his still car. It happened several days ago, but it still baffled his mind.
Reza Blackwell. The rebellious Knight with the troublesome reputation. Killed doing her duty by the gate.
It made no sense.
Kamil sighed and folded up the letter, putting it back in his bag before he got out of the car, locking it. It was still hard to swallow, and it was even harder to explain it to Damien. Something was wrong about the whole thing, but he couldn't dwell on it for long. He had to take care of other things, so he pushed it to the back of his mind.
"What else did I need..." he muttered in Italian, walking into his quiet house. The twins were away with some friends, thank goodness. He closed the door and put the bag down on the nearby armchair, walking through towards his office.
