(no subject)
whoa...two months and no posting eh? Yeah, I guess I really don't have anything to say.
Tomorrow I fly out to Michigan. Kevin bought me a plane ticket and is taking me there to see his home town and hang out with his family for a bit. Plus he knows that I've been freakin' out from working too much, so he probably figured I needed a vacation. While there, I think we'll be heading to chicago for his friends wedding. I'm pretty excited about it. I've always wanted to go to Chicago. I think it'll be cool seeing where he grew up and getting to know his family. He's always hanging out with my family and has kinda gotten close with them, so it'll be neat to be able to try and get that way with his people.
I've talked to him a couple times about him moving in. I'm so over living with people, and I can't afford my condo on my own. We have never had any sort of confrontation, argument, or anything of the such. Pretty remarkable for dating almost two years if you ask me. I know that it would work out awesome, so hopefully sometime before winter he'll pull the trigger and come be my roommate =)
Other than that, work work work. John (manager at white pine) wants to give me a raise so he can have me full time. He knows that I"m getting burnt out by working so many hours and is going to try and get me a big enough raise so I can just work one job and have two days off a week. I haven't had that in over a year. Matt at the paper also wants to hook me up with a raise and have me full time, so i don't know what will happen. I'm just kinda stoked that my employers like me enough to want me full time and try and get me the money I need. I've told them both that I can't work full time for less that 500.00 a week AFTER taxes without a second part time job. They didn't turn me down and both are trying to see what they can do. I'd feel bad quiting either one, but unfortunately, money right now is what is going to make my decision either way.
Alright, time to finish packing and eat some coffee ice cream... yummo!
