I have to ask if it's only me or if people seem a lot nicer and more in tune with the world right now. It doesn't seem to be the typical holiday spirit thing -- it seems more like what holiday spirit should be ideally, because I can't remember a time when everyone around me seemed so benevolent.

Or, is it me?

My new year's resolution came to me kind of thoughtlessly: Public service. I'll figure out to where as I go along. I'm excited.
