fall 06 semester in review
sigh. no matter what I do, I can't win. a couple weeks ago, I knew I wouldn't need my exacto knife for awhile, so I cleverly hid it from myself so I wouldn't accidently stumble upon it and cut myself, because, let's face it, 3 times is more than enough times to slice one's skin in a semester. of course, I completely forgot where I hid it, so when I needed it today I had to search a good 40 minutes before I found it. in my excitement over finding my much-needed tool, I pulled the cap off in a floursih... and promptly sliced my finger with the blade in the process. >_<
in other news:
there are only 5 more days when I have class left in the semester! so I've decided it's time to statistically recap these last 4 months, in increasing numerical order, just for your viewing pleasure. :) (some numbers are estimated)
- 1 time I slept through my alarm (I only slept in 10 minutes, and still made it to class on time)
- 2 large rolls of duct tape (one silver, one purple)
- 2 art portfolios (one orange, one blue, both made of sucky paper)
- 4 70-count notebooks
- 4 times I accidently cut myself with my exacto knife
- 5 chemistry tests
- 7 small boxes of pop tarts
- 10 new episodes of Gilmore Girls
- 12 ink cartridges for my printer
- 15 creative writing assignments
- 20 pens (various colors)
- 21 drawn/painted self-portraits
- 45 water bottles
- 141 art history flashcards
- 209 pages written in my journal
- $390 spent on art supplies
