I love my nerd.....
Having just arrived at work super early, the upside is that I get to leave sooner than expected. I have a busy day ahead and wanted to get here before others started filtering in (about an hour from now) and with a bit of time to kill, I figured that I'd post a quick one......
We had our monthly BBQ at work yesterday in the parking lot with gazebos set up and it was great to socialize with a few of the Account Managers making a brief appearance from their busy schedule on the road. 'Would you like another cig hun' whispered Louisa and I laughed saying not right now still feeling bad about what I had done......LOL
Came home to hear a really weird noise coming from the basement and upon descending the stairs there was Adrian staring at this contraption that held one of his records upright slowly turning counter-clockwise. 'What the fuck is that' I said to him which made him jump as his back was to me and didn't hear me come down the stairs hypnotized by his new toy. 'Ultrasonic Vinyl Record Cleaner' he said to me with his develish grin with yours truly laughing and calling him a 'vinyl nerd' which he was very proud of. The dude has a shit load of records, he won't tell me exactly how many although it's in the hundreds. A bit obsessed, but it could be worse and he's having his fun. I mean, I'm no better with my black pants, jeans, tops, heels and cosmetics so yeah whatever.......LOL
He gave me a demonstration of how it worked, being very meticulous, pouring the distilled water into the centre chamber and setting it to clean for a couple minutes and then dry for five minutes. Gotta admit, it is kinda cool.......
Time's up......back to work as I want to leave by mid-afternoon!
