Good morning.......
Got up earlier than expected as lately I've been having trouble sleeping with a lot on my mind for obvious reasons. We've yet to get the baby room ready as I would like to move our home office downstairs and give the room a fresh coat of paint. Adrian told me to chill and relax but it's kind of hard to do so considering I'm a mega planner and like to get things done well in advance. That's just me and how I've always been. Three months may seem like a lot of time, but for me it isn't and I'm going to press him today to get it done. We're opposites in that way as he can be way too chill and wait till the last minute to get a project done and I'm the complete opposite. Both parents have offered to buy us furniture for the room and we've picked everything out but it seems to be a case of the cart before the horse.
That's why they love me at work....well, at least management does as they can always rely on yours truly to meet department deadlines but I'm sure my staff would say differently. Yeah, I can be a bitch but you don't get ahead in life being nice all the time. Nothing personal, all business.
We've been going back and forth with names for our daughter and have settled (kind of) on Sophia. We also like Daniella and there's a huge part of me that loves the name 'Gabriela', but it would be kind of weird considering that was my stage name when I worked at the club. Also, one of my cats is Gaby so maybe not a good idea.......LOL
Next weekend is the long weekend so I'd like to get the room cleared out tomorrow. Might seem like late notice for Adrian, but it shouldn't take long to move everything downstairs and I'll even get my brother to come over and help. I'd do it today, but not gonna work as my bro isn't available and plus, I've made arrangements to go to the mall with my sis. I need my 'therapeutic shopping'......
Gonna be another hot day today and no complaints here!
