Love life......
Last weekend absolutely sucked but this week has been fantastic to say the least. Although taking up a lot of my time, work has been going amazing and it's nice to be recognized by my peers and upper management. Although I had my doubts from the beginning, my move has paid off dividends and it's quite a feeling to 'right the ship' and get things back on track. I really do feel good about myself and quite proud of not only my accomplishments, but the team as well. Pulling together and tackling the mis-direction was no easy feat in itself, but they have my utmost respect for doing so and putting up with my not so easy demands.
Well done guys....
So looking forward to the weekend (even if it's snowing as I type this) as Dom is coming over tonight and we'll probably hit the gym tomorrow morning. I got thinking the other day how I should be so flattered that someone who is ten years younger than me wants to be with me.....even if it's just for sex. Then again, taking the sex out of the equation we do enjoy each other's company. He told me the other day that it took weeks for him to work up the courage to leave his number on my coffee cup......he couldn't focus at work while I was outside having my coffee & cigarette....lol....glad he took the initiative and where this will all go is anyone's guess....really don't care at this point as I'm enjoying life and the company I keep.
