A weekend to remember.....not.
What should and could have been a great weekend turned out to be a crappy one indeed. I had a fantastic leg workout at the gym Saturday morning and literally crushed it destroying and obliterating my program as my butt and legs screamed for mercy....lol. By the time I got home a mild headache settled in only to be followed by a very painful migraine....which caught me off guard as although I do get the odd headache, I never have had a migraine in my life. So bad in fact that at times I thought I was going to vomit but fortunately it didn't happen.
Dom was supposed to come over but I obviously had to cancel and being in the state I was, I just wanted to be left alone which is really not like me as I'm very sociable. (surprise, not!) So I just slept and slept only to get up to use the bathroom and attempt eating.....
By Sunday I was feeling much better and began cleaning up around the house. Upon finishing my vacuuming, for whatever reason I experienced the worst pain in my left knee which had me in agony. Limping to the fridge for an icepack and then to the couch it finally went away after about an hour. Most likely I pushed it too hard with my leg workout and of course my body telling me that I'm not getting any younger. But knowing me it still won't deter my punishing workouts as that's how I roll....
I was good enough to meet up with a few friends for java although I had a noticeable limp and had to forego my new booties that I bought and wore flats.....boring. We had a great time and caught up on all the latest gossip/nonsense and some two hours later I found myself driving home and realizing that the weekend wasn't a total write off....
M was dropped off not by my ex, but his bride-to-be.....yes, she made a point of dropping him off (she's never picked or dropped him off ever) and just to rub it into my face with the fancy rock on her finger. Did I care? LOL, not really and I didn't congratulate her as I know in time she'll get the shaft from him as well. Good luck with him hun, you'll need it!
I'm probably not invited to the wedding anyways......LOL....
