That was beautiful. I loved how you captured Shion's experiences (or lack thereof!) of art in his old life, and how that has affected his appreciation of them in the West Block. I loved how cagey Nezumi was about his ability at first, and how he arranged for Shion to walk in on him playing in the end, so it didn't look like he was doing it for Shion. Thank you so much for sharing this!

Thanks so much! :) I'm really glad you mentioned the part about Nezumi arranging for Shion to walk in on him - I was really hoping that had come through. ^_~ I think it was something Nezumi wanted to do for him, but... Like you said, he didn't want it to look that way. ^_~

Hmm, I think you fascinated me with the take of no pianos in No. 6. (I mean it totally makes sense, but I'm not sure if I remember it in canon. But it seems canon-esque.) So I guess I find this take on the world very interesting.

It's a cute fic, and I think I really like Shion in it (as he tries to grasp something like music... and doesn't understand that theory doesn't really make a musician).

It only shows up very briefly in canon. *nods* Nezumi plays just a few notes in one episode, and so... Yeah, I'm glad it worked and made sense to sort of expand on that here. :)
