Why am I awake? Clearly just to read this fic. Clearly. :)

And this was such a nice fic, warm and lovely. I like how the meal started out realistically awkward, and how Ianto wistfully thinks of the way things could have been while its Gwen who steps in and makes things happen determinedly. And it's always seemed logical that they would become friends during Jack's absence. :)

You used "full-stop!" Britishisms always make me smile.

And yay! I'm so glad you liked this, and that the awkwardness at the beginning made sense and felt realistic. I could definitely see Gwen pushing to make something like this happen, especially while Jack's gone.

I ♥ good awkwardness in fics. And I can see Gwen spending a lot of time pushing the team together without Jack, which was probably a good idea for everyone.

Perfect! I was reccing you and sariagray to someone the other day and told them you both wrote the team perfectly and I was so right.

And I love the idea that Ianto and Rhys could have been friends. I think they would have been great mates if given the chance. And your blossoming Ianto/Gwen friendship was so lovely.

That I think, was how it would have been. Gwen and Ianto weren't rivals, and of all they team they had the most in common. Yeah, and Ianto and Rhys would have been mates.
