So I wanted to make this post simply because I feel like my Merlin commentaries have been somewhat unbalanced this season. XD;;; As in...I've posted when I want to rant about Gwen/OOC-ness/general asshattery on the part of the writers this or that, but haven't given the show enough credit for being completely awesome, which is is, sometimes. XDDD
SO YES. I would now just like to say, for the record, that I LOVED THIS LAST EPISODE, AND am SO happy that now I feel like I can properly look forward to season three. :D :D :D
I would have loved it more if somehow Arthur had been awake to witness Merlin's awesomeness/roaring at the dragon (which, btw, reminded me a lot of Parseltongue :P) but... Then again that would have left a LOT of questions going into season three, and probably would have caused more than a few heart attacks, so... Why not prolong the inevitable a bit longer, right? ^_~
Anyway. I don't really have anything very intelligent or insightful to say about this episode, but gjflkgjflkjgflkgjfkj SO GOOD. And those Merlin/Arthur moments~ *wibbles* Especially that last scene, when Merlin tells Arthur he's going with him to fight the dragon. *__*
It might be hard for you to understand my feelings. XDDDDDDD
And then Arthur's adorable smile~ GUH. ^___________^
Thanks to that, and the minimal Gwen this episode, I think I can safely say that I give this season a pass. *nodnodnod*
