Stolen from hitome_bore :D (I actually don't think those were repeats, I think they were just trying to see who'd read the complete series vs. just the first/most famous pick? Or maybe not. :P

Looking at this list makes me feel horrible un-read, even though I have read many, many books. They just aren't on this list, apparently. I've never been one for reading "classics", unless it comes recommended to me by people who's tastes in books I trust.
Honestly, half of those classics that I read were probably assigned to me in school. XD;; My problem is that...it was so long ago that I read them that I don't remember a thing anymore. I hate that. -__-
Yeah, any class of mine that required books were almost never "classics". I mean, we read books that are considered classics, but not the great ones, such as on this list, you know? As well, a lot of my teachers who would assign projects about books would let us chose our own, in order to get us to care more about the assignment and to put more effort in (which worked... sort of).
I'm horrible at remembering books I've read years ago. If they were interesting enough, or just happened to gain a spot in my memory, I only remembered vague details about plot points and that's all. This is why I have to own books, because otherwise I forget everything (including sometimes, the book title XD;;;)
Hmmm, yeah, I think that must be the case in a lot of places, because it seems like a lot of people on my flist have missed some of those classics. I'd be a lot happier about having been forced to read them if I could remember more, I think. :P Because I'm the same as you, I think - I'm really lucky if I can remember more than a few plot points of books after a while. XD;;; I actually started keeping a book journal with more details just so that the time I spent reading didn't feel so wasted. :P I haven't been keeping it up recently though. *sighs* XD;
I feel like I've read more classics than recent fiction, myself, but... I think I have high school English to thank for that. ^_~ (And the fact that anymore, it takes me 6 months to finish anything I start. XD;;;)
*GAAAAAAAAAAAAASPS* I've never ever read anything from that list! XDDD Well, except of course The Bible. (^_~) But aside from that... NOTHING! XD Ah well~ I'm not really a reader, I'm a lazy reader (I can't even read my school notes)~ (>_>) And I think that's a bad thing! D: My mama always tells me that I should read books, since I'm taking up Journalism~ But I'd usually sleep rather than reading~ (T__T) So good for you!!! You have read lots!!! \^o^/
Well, you're not a native speaker of the language most of those books are written in, so you're forgiven. <333 Though you should really, really read The Little Prince sometime though (among other things ^_~)- it's short, and really wonderful. You'd like it. ^_^
Iconnnnn~~~ *_______* That's such a pretty picture too. I nearly fell over when I saw it. It's so...so...flawless, you know? @__@
But... I don't read books in Filipino either. (^_~) And most of the books that are for sale or can be borrowed in my school's library are English books but still... (^_~) But oooh!!! I think someone I personally know actually told me to read The Little Prince (was it my brother? XD) because it's really a great story! (*_*) Maybe I should look for that in our library! *nods* :D Thanks for recommending! <3
Yes, such a pretty picture so I instantly made an icon out of it, soooo cute ♥~~~! (*w*) I wonder if where corner Nagayan was in that picture though! XD
Look for it, look for it~ I know you'll really like it. :D And then maybe it will make you...want to read more? I don't know, I'm not one to talk since really, it's been a LONG time since I've read most of those books up there. XD;;;
Mmm, yeah, I LOVE that picture. *can't stop staring* And yeah, I wonder where he is too. *_*

why is hamlet and the complete works of shakespeare separate :S

...I was thinking that they just wanted to see who'd read one of the more read/performed plays, vs. the complete works?
