The Greatest and Latest Assassin
So a while ago I entered a contest over at Seventh Sanctum and snagged a runner-up spot. The contest was 'Weapons and Warriors' and you had to use some of their generators to come up with a character and their weapon, and then create an entry based on those results. Since I can't draw very well I decided to do what I do best instead: cosplay! This is the entry I came up with and earned a runner-up position and a $25 dollar Amazon gift card for. Someone posted in the comments that I should write about the character, Viola Grey, and so now, all these months later, I have.
I just finished the first draft of the first chapter and posted it over at deviantArt. It can be found here. The working title of the book (or novella or short story or whatever it ends up being) is The Greatest and Latest Assassin, and it's looking to be a sort of sci-fi action/adventure/thriller with some romance thrown in. It's very rough, but I'd appreciate any comments and/or critiques. Is it at all interesting? Would you like to see more of these characters? What would you like to see them do?
