lorena, her little sisters, greg, my aunt, and i have been working hard at bringing the apt. up to speed. i've come to realize my grandma was fucking filthy. her living quarters was in such disgusting shape at her time of death, we didn't want to remain staying here. granted our financial situation, and the fact that getting an apt. with no credit is impossible, we decided cleaning the place up might be the best idea.
so many man hours later, we have damn near completed the living room and kitchen. once my aunt goes back to indiana, we can proceed to throw out the futon she's been sleeping on and replace it with either a couch or two bar stools (yeah, we have a bar ;-)).
that's it for now, but when we figure out when we are having our house warming party, i'll post again.
