SF trip

I am in SF. I was about to regret so much since only seven law firms showed up at our job fair. The annoying part about the interview process was that a half of my law school classmates at this fair were either Northern Californian Ivy Leaguers or Stanford graduates for college. I was more like a Southern Californian guy, but even for that, not entirely. I had a connection to SF for only one year!

Then, during one of the firm interviews, I kept thinking about "I wish I could go out with a girl tonight and have a nice Japanese meal." The interviewer was quite a senior partner who went to Yale for undergrad and Berkeley for law school. She spent 80% of her interview time talking about what a great law firm she worked for. Actually, I bought her story and the great part about the interview was that I did not have to talk that much.

Surprisingly, that firm called me for a second round interview, within less than two hours after the interview. This was my first time (of course, not others') when I got a second-round invitation on the same day as the first round interview. No one else I knew interviewed with this firm seemed to have received a phone call today. Now, my trip to SF was worthwhile. I love you, SF! I now have a free trip to Silicon Valley! Yes!
