The End of Summer Hols (August 24th)
The end of yet another summer hol is quickly coming. Soon, I'll be heading back to Hogwarts; back to studying, back to facing MontClaire when my potion explodes when it's not suppose to (although that hasn't happened for quite some time thanks to a certain book), back to Quidditch games, back to Astronomy with D.J., and most importantly and the best thing of all, back into Adra's arms.
Ewan I am sure is more than happy to get rid of me for the year. I think I've driven my best mate a bit wanky with all the talk about Adra and what we've planned. Not that I'd blame him. And I didn't spend the entire summer just talking about her either. Ewan and I have managed to get into plenty of trouble as usual this summer. Somehow we've managed to pull Satine Lashwood into our fold and I'll be damned if she isn't one hell of a smart Ravenclaw! She actually set up some of our schemes so that they'd go better than if we had done it ourselves.
Amazingly enough, I managed to pull some good O.W.L.s and am now going to be taken all the necessary classes to become an Auror. I was really worried about the Potions score, but I did better than I thought I could. Although this more in likely means things are going to become more difficult in the studies department, but as long as I don't have the same kind of year I did last year, I think I'll manage to struggle through it alright.
I haven't heard from Adra in awhile, so I hope things went alright for her and her grandmother-from-hell. I guess I'll find out soon enough if we're going to be able to have an open relationship this year or not. The few owls I did get from her were encouraging, if not a bit on the ranting side. This whole blood-line thing is foolish if you ask me, but as was proven last year, there are those who stand strictly by them and will stop at nothing to see things their way.
On a bright note, I don't have to deal with Dimshit Valerian anymore. He graduated last year and is no longer around to annoy the crap out of me. But sadly, there's still Amir. But thankfully only for one more year.
I guess I'll be heading to Diagon Alley tomorrow to get the necessary stuff for another year at Hogwarts. Hopefully I'll run into some mates there and we can catch each other up on things.
