Last time I updated I was over the moon because of my GPA. This quarter... semester... whatever the fuck they wanna call it, I am not so sure. Granted I 2 out of 3 classes I know right now I have an A in but that damn Creative Writing class is gonna kill me. Professor Geekycute... as I like to call him, is a fucking Drill Sergeant (which btw why isnt Sergeant spelled like it sounds - Sargent... dont ask ) and granted while he has said I have done well it may only be because I am the only one who turned in their work on time. I dont know whatever. If I dont make the Director's List (4.0) then I make the Dean's List (3.5-3.99)Too bad it isnt the Dean Winchester list.
OMG those Legacy pics are just... gah!!!! Oh and you know where is the pic that they are using as the thumbnail for the "Legacy is here" post on their home page. The one of Dean from the 'way too blue' photoshoot. I WANT THAT!!!! by chance anyone got it ??? I spent way too much time in the Season 1 Jensen Ackles section. Dont laugh... you did too.
Never the less.
Some of you know I was working for a wonderful ePublishing company - Aphrodite's Apples. Sadly the company closed. I then decided to open my own. What the hell possessed me I am not sure LOL... I kid I kid. I really started to like the whole biz and well I was thinking why not. So I started darkroast_press . We have a myspace and of course a website in progress. As it stands right now we launch April 15th. (**gigglesnort**) **throws confetti**
So I leave the offer on the table. Many members of my flist are authors. Many of you know authors. I am currently taking submissions. Take a look at the myspace blog, my submissions guidelines and author faq's are there. Think you have what it takes ? Let me know.
If you want to keep up with Dark Roast please friend the myspace or the lj. I probably wont update much here but I will on those pages or my "professional" lj rhiannon_rhodes
Oh and I am looking for a few editors... possibly a promo assistant not sure yet
