Long time, no write

So as for Army Standards I no longer suck at life. Wed I took my APFT and passed everything finally. I needed minimums of: 17 push ups, 45 situps and run my 2 mile in less than 20:30. My performance was: 25 p/u, 48 s/u, 1730-ish 2 mile. w00t! So now I'm officilly off restriction.
For those who don't know, since I failed my APft in Jan, technically I've been on phase 4 status which meant: no smoking, drinking, off post passes, wearing civilian clothes, driving or riding in civilian cars except to and from military or medical stuff, and I had to do PT 2x a day 4 days a week. The policy isn't enforced very well, and I took advantage of it, but now I don't have to look over my shoulder all the time, which will put quite a crick in your neck!
So that's the good news. Bad news is our company was doing combatives this afternoon and I volunteered to be the demonstrator for some move and our acting 1st Sgt/DS/combatives level 3 certified instructor some how facilitated my right wrist being broken.
I went to the ER in an ambulance, was given morphine, had a chat with the EMT who is a former SF medic--basically he told me not to get discouraged beause of the injury, which until he explained his background I kinda rolled my eyes at. So, today I get to go to an orthopedist to be re-evaaluated and get a real cast to replace the temp they put on at the ER. So an interesting 2 days for this IET soldier...
Oh, and my dart team won 1st place in gold legue so next session we're moving to platinum legue(where the best players play) to be taught humility.
Anyway it is way too early or way too late so 'Night Ya'll
