I have an unusual need for a Halloween costume for this year, as there's a party being held by a coworker to which I've been invited. It apparently has a space theme, which means that my trusty SCA garb is out. (I'm not doing Ivanhoe In Space!, thanks). However, a new acquaintance came up with a great idea: Kaylee from Firefly

That's a super idea! Kaylee's the best. You can always grab a Chinese style jacket from a thrift store too. :)

I think you should go as Space itself! Wear all black, attach the styrofoam balls that have been painted like planets.

Then you could look at the hot guys and go "Space...the final frontier" (with a come-hither look).
