Frühjahrsmüdigkeit
I just learned that there is no English expression for the German word "Frühjahrsmüdigkeit", which surprised me a lot .. maybe "spring tiredness" comes the closest.. *yawns* :)

I made this manip two years ago when the rumours about a new Star Trek movie spread and every Trekkie was discussing which actors might be the best choice to play our legendary heroes Kirk and Spock. So I made my very own version, which was not to be taken seriously! Although I could easily imagine Orli playing a Vulcan.. ;o)
I know, I'm far from being as good as Mata or other very creative people, so please bear with me and my limited talents. ;D (And no, I'm not fishing for compliments.. *g*)
While browsing through my old graphics folders I found an old banner I created six(!) years ago for our 'Düsseldorfer Trekdinner' (that's our regular's table for Star Trek, sci-fi and fantasy fans). It's not really good and I'm not too happy with the result - the size, the colouring, the lighting and the resolution of the persons differ too much -, but I thought, it's old, so why not posting it anyhow. ;o)
There are 16 TV shows and movies represented in the picture. Do you know them all? (I'm sure, those of you familiar with SF and fantasy do so. *g*)
Speaking about graphics.. I changed my layout once again. I wanted something with lighter, pastel colours (it's springtime!) and ended up with blue and beige. I also created a new header and changed the mood theme. I love upsa_daisy's animated "Nature Mood theme", it's so beautiful.
EDIT: Oops, I hope the second pic is not too long for your monitor screens. Sometimes I forget that I'm using a higher screen resolution than most people.
