Today, the weather was beautiful so I spent a little time outside. Tomorrow is supposed to be the same so I am really looking forward to going to the zoo in the morning. I haven't been to a park or anything in a long time. We can go to a cool park week after next. Usually we are offered only Walmart and garage sales for outings so I am happy with the change. This place promised a new menu of better, higher quality food and they have kept their promise. At lunch the mac n' cheese actually tasted like cheese. They still serve things I don't like regularly. They serve spinach and beets ALOT. But, I'm not going hungry because the food sucks.
Richard, my boyfriend, broke his hip and had to have it replaced with plastic about a week ago. The first couple of days this loving man was plain hateful. It broke my heart and I was afraid maybe I had lost what I had. I stayed away for 2 days and he came to dinner the 2nd day. His demeaner completely changed. He still was in terrible pain but he told me he was sorry and that those days he wasn't himself. He wouldn't hurt me for the world and I was the love of his life. He has been even more loving then before since. He got me a little ring, with a diamond encrusted heart, today. It is so pretty. I still wish he was about 20 years younger so we could have more years together
We go to the zoo in the morning. It is supposed to be a gorgeous day, weather wise, and I am excited to be going an outing. I wish I had my camera to take pictures but I have no idea what happenned to it when I moved from home to here. I used to take lots of pics and I miss it.
I'm looking forward to getting my renter's rebate check in a week. It will be awesome to have a chunk of money to draw from. I already have a shopping list of things I'll get with the money that I haven't been able to afford like new underwear, a hair cut (I'm still keeping my hair long), new make up, maxi pads, instant coffee, to name a few. I'm also looking forward to getting cards and presents for a few people since I haven't been able to in over a year. I am sooooo excited to get money.
