Last night I had my previous to last exam. American History, I don't think it went too bad... I got a question wrong and didn't answer another but it was of the short ones. That day I porpusefully wore red thinking of Midsummer Night and its relation to fire. I didn't do anything thoug, just babysitted and watched "Practical Magic". There was a little party in my street and the barbequed meat smelled tempting, but I didn't go down. It was mostly the old folk from around and some kids. I always complain about the partying here and the crappy music but I sort of missed it being big-ish. This year they only closed part of the street when they usually close the whole crossing between my street and the one perpendicular to it. At around 2320 I walked to where I was baby-sitting. It was terrifying at times because I was wearing strappy sandals and there were people lighting fireworks and firecrackers everywhere. I was specially afraid of firecrackers in case they blew up one of my toes.
I finished my baby-sitting round 4 and went back home and read myself the tarot card I bought recently with the help of a book for beginners. There were mostly good things and it ended in the Lovers and the Star, which is good. But close to the beginning I got the Devil and the Wheel of Fortune inverted. Anyway, these things are very ambiguous. Cool, though...
So I ended up going to bed at six and waking up round midday. I wanted to because I thought there'd be bubble machine, but there was only the big hose. I had fun with it though... I joined in the kids playing around and getting completely soaked. In the afternoon I stayed in reading my book for French Literature. I meant to go out this evening and watch The Libertine (it was the last day in the midnight showing) but stayed in, I'm tired... Anyway, I'm off. I'll find that film in DVD...
I would've liked to jump over a small bonfire...
