The New Year

Last night was either going to be the best night to end the worst year or just really disappointing. It was the latter plus absolutely tragic and pathetic.
But I'm sort of glad it was absolutely unbearable because wow. I'm never going back.
I told Stephen that I was afraid that the problems of last year were going to tincture into the new year...but I don't think that will happen.
And god I'm glad.
