Important stuff
Sometimes I find myself wittering away about stupid shit--work shit, or LJ shit, or food_porn shit, or shit that I see on the news that annoys the crap out of me. And I know that I can pointlessly whinge away with the best of them...I know that I can turn molehills into mountains and irritation into drama...
And then something comes along and reminds me that all of that STUFF--all of that TRIVIA--is just pure crap, and not important in the least.
Go here. Read. Send the very best thoughts you have. Say something. Be the good person you are and find your priorities and prove that you know what "community" means.
I don't know her--but I know that my boy was missing for three months, and I know that you die a little bit every minute you don't know where they are.
No mother deserves that, and no son deserves to feel the way this young man has to feel.
And if you can find it in your heart to post the information, please do. My son wandered from PA to Texas before he was found--this kid could be literally anywhere.
But wherever he is, I hope he's safe, and that his mother gets the same opportunity I had--to tearfully hug and beat the shit out of her son simultaneously.
Please help--you never know what good you can do until after you've done it.
