Ruminations
As you know, I didn't have much of a weekend last weekend (Mother seems to be doing pretty well now, though--good days and bad, as can be expected). And all this past week, all I could think of was how wonderful it would be to be able to sleep in in the morning until I was ready to get up.
For the past two days, I've been able to do that, and yanno what?
It was just as good as I fantasized it would be. ;-)

I'm making my parents a shepherd's pie this afternoon. They've been eating out of red boxes for a week now, and it's time for something homemade.
Meals on Wheels, Bay-beee.

I've decided against the grasscloth idea for the front hall and for just a sponging technique.
Of course, finishing the base coat would be helpful, yes?
I'll do that today.

Yesterday, Paul and I took an informal inventory of all the projects we got accomplished this year....
We're pretty magnificent!

I have a post floating around in my head that I think I'll write later...or not.
We'll see.
How funny it is to have become the kind of person who should actually get a t-shirt that says, "I'm blogging this!"
