This has been a very tough, ugly campaign. And to be honest, it's gotten to the point that we need all the smiles we can get.

The symbol for the Democratic Party is a donkey, the Republican Party is an elephant.

Symbolising that ones a bunch of stubborn jackasses and the other leaves a trail of wreckage and HUGH piles of crap wherever they go...

Don't get me wrong, in my book being stubborn is a good trait...and mules/donkeys/jackasses are all useful animals.

Besides, it's a lot harder cleaning up after an elephant. I should know, I've had to do it!
