Holy cats....
I haven't been around much lately--there has been busy-ness abounding, and I haven't even paid much attention to reading here. And I apologize for that, because, in catching up this morning, I've found that I've missed a LOT.
Birthday greetings have gone out the window. Comments have gone out the window. Postings have gone out the window.
Life has just overwhelmed.
I've been breaking my butt at working, whether at the office (where I cannot read LJ--as you know, you are all too dangerous to be allowed that close to the work server) and at home (where I can, but am too busy whacking out spreadsheets to do so), trying to catch up, keep up, get ahead....
Last night, I crashed at 7, and slept through till five this morning when Daisy woke me up.
Yeah, it's been just that bad.
We've been drowning in work, and I've been drowning in life, and by the end of the day I'm so tired of sitting and so tired of typing and so tired of thinking that I just haven't been able to work up a good whack of content--and it would appear from what I've posted so far in this post that I haven't rectified that situation yet...at ALL.
And you know, it doesn't look like I'm going to do much better today, because it's a perfectly gorgeous day out there, and there's stuffness to do in the yard and I should probably take care of that before the heat and humidity roll back in...
I'm sorry I've been such a shitty friend, but I promise I'll try to do better.
