I know what you mean about DJs, we had some cheesy ones, but it was accepted and they were part of the experience. There was one that did high school football scores that had a really nasal accent, but his voice was THE voice for Monday Morning High School Football Scores.

On a tangent here, I still anticipate the *CLICK* at a certain parts of Queen songs from when I had "The Best of Queen" on 8-track.

In this day and age, who in the world would sit still anymore for that *click* *pause* *pick up* in their music anymore?

But we did it all the time, didn't we?

Amazing.

I've still got a functioning 8 track player somewhere, and some 8 tracks that I picked up at flea markets. There's just something about "Frampton Comes Alive", and "Best of Black Oak Arkansas" on 8 track.

LOL I kept my 8 tracks in my truck, hell no one wanted to steal them.

It's amazing what you can find at flea markets, we have one here called the Jockey Lot. Its about 30 acres, and Ive seen stuff there that Ive looked for in stores and went good god,I'm not paying that price and found it there for like 20 bucks.

But then I'm also a garage sale maniac..lol

I got a cool shot glass at a flea market a while back, a two section one with the bottom for the chaser and the top for the shot.

I also got a country club malt liquor mug and a gordon's fisherman bobblehead.

it's good to be easily amused
