Oh wow, do I EVER feel rejuvenated!! I think that little vacation really was what I needed. I had probably the best birthday I've ever had!!! =)
So we went to VEGAS!! Whoo!! And I had a blast! I'd never knew how much fun gambling could be. Of course, it was a bit odd when Raz got booted from the first casino we went to because he got a little tipsy and shouted too loud, insisting that all the slot machines were trying to propose to him when he was already taken... hee hee hee. But it was fun all the same. =) I really hope that we'll be able to go back for Halloween for the anime con. That'd be soooo awesome! Yeah! I mean, if I had a blast on this little outing, could you imagine how much fun it'd be if there was an anime con going on? RAR! *runs in small circles* =)
Back at the suite, Raz and I exchanged our birthday presents that we got for one another. I was so proud, because I just KNEW I was going to top him. I had gotten for him the second .hack// DVD (since he had so much trouble finding it), a carved glass dragon, the X soundtrack, and a Trigun wallscroll. There is other stuff in the mail for him that hasn't arrived yet, but I'm not going to type what it is, since I'm sure he'll find his way to my journal sooner or later. =) Anyway, I even went out and baked him a cake, and on top, I put a piece of pocky for each year he has been alive. Topping it with a couple of numbered candles, I thought I had topped him. I was sadly beaten... here is the story.
Raz kept bugging me to know what I wanted. I finally told him that I wanted a cd, and he promised to get it for me. Come my birthday, I find that my cd hasn't arrived yet... but that he has gotten me a FFVIII wallscroll that depicts Squall and Rinoa holding one another while making their promise (cuuuute, btw!). =) He also got me the official licensed FFVIII necklaces for Squall and Rinoa. I thought that was it... with my cd that was going to come in. I was wrong... dead wrong. X_x
So there I am, jolly as ever because I am presenting him with his birthday gift. I'm pleased that I beat him, and I'm having a blast teasing him about how embarrassed he got when I came out of the kitchen singing "Happy Birthday" while carrying his cake in. He was soooo surprised!! And then he told me that he had to "get something" so he ran to the bedroom and dug around in his bag... I didn't think anything at first, that is, until he comes out with this fairly good sized box, wrapped, with my name on it.
"I wanted to wait for the right time to give it to you..." he said.
So I opened the box... and found...
A GAMECUBE!!
I about died! I mean.... whoa.... a gc alone is like $100 and then he got me Resident Evil Zero (another $30) AND a memory card... plus the wallscroll and the necklaces... then while we were in Vegas, he ended up getting me a couple of new outfits (one which I'm wearing right now), more rings, AND he insisted on paying for the ENTIRE trip.
I'm not used to anyone spending money on me... now I know why he has been late in his rent and other things lately... he was saving... for... well, me. I am really, really happy about everything. He didn't have to go all out the way he did, but I'm more than apprecitive. =)
It is a good thing that he won at some of them card games... I think he should be able to get caught up in his finances and everything else. He shouldn't have put me before everything else though... *blushes*

How bout we not talk about how much I can blush at the very mention of Raz's name, hmm? =)
So I'm sitting here in class, and surprised as hell because my teacher isn't being a bitch today... she's actually being very nice to me. She called us up there,one by one, to give us our grades back. I think I intimidate her or something because she had a big, nasty "75" circled in red pen on all of my chapter one homework. She then smiled at me, crossed it out, replaced it with a "100" in black pen and said "Since you did so well on your chapter two homework, I'm bumping this up. Don't want to hurt your straight A's, after all."
Something is seriously wrong.... I mean, she was HORRIBLE to me, and now she is changing my grades for the better?
What is even more strange is the fact that I'm actually starting to understand this shiz... and I'm pretty good at it. I didn't realize it until the lady complimented me on it.
