You are Taki. Strict and determined, you are
always trying to make yourself better.

What Soul Calibur II Character are you?
brought to you by Quizilla

Heh, should I have expected anything different? =)

And now, I post.

Work was a little strange tonight. A man came in, drunk as hell. Nothing new, once again. Only this man was so drunk that he forgot where the bar was. I told him where it was, and yet he did not depart. He stood there, telling me his life story. It was slow, and though I'd rather have messed around with my laptop, I took time to listen to him. Kind of. I mean, I listened to him while drawing little monkeys on the back of my notebook. He went on and on about his nose being sunburned, then about how his friend named "Two Bears" was actually a white guy who wanted desperately to be a Native American, then on to a little of how "God" works in mysterious ways, and then finally, to how, as he claimed, I was the most beautiful girl he had seen in quite awhile.

Just a side note, I'm not beautiful, or pretty at all. Why people think so is beyond me. I think it is the fact that people are drunk and will say anything to get laid. I don't know. I digress...

Anyway, this man finally ends up tossing a couple of dollars upon the counter, telling me that it was my tip for listening to him. I almost felt like a poorly paid psychiatrist. Ah well.

My general manager was being a prick today. Raz came by for a bit, and stood at the counter to wait for me to finish with a couple of customers. Raz always does that, and no one cares. He always stands at the counter, waiting for me to finish, that way, we can walk to his usual table together. However, today, my GM tells Raz to take a seat until the customers are gone. Strange, really. Even stranger is the fact that he did not tell Raz anything in front of me. He waited until I went to the back for a moment and when I came back, Raz waved at me from his table. I glared at my GM, causing him to run to the back. Asshole. He has no right to tell Raz anything. I don't care if he fires me or not; Raz comes before my GM's stupid orders. My GM doesn't know crap about how to run the place anyway, and Raz as often times told me about how I should be GM. Not attempting to sound cocky, but Raz is right. I've worked here for more than a year now, and I really am sick of the crap that I go through just for this GM's mood swings. He has only been here about two months and how he got the position, I've no clue. All I do know is that he is an annoying asshole who needs to be shot in the head twice. Ah, but I rant....

The rest of my day went rather well. Raz had a drink that he pushed in front of me and dared me to chug. I must also mention that I also had a drink, so when Raz dared me to drink both mine and his at the same time, I was a bit hesitant. However, I thrust a straw into each drink and chugged my way past the ice. Got a hell of a brainfreeze, but the hyper buzz I got off of them was well worth it. =)

Perhaps a bit more of a buzz than I would have liked, for Raz ended up having to escort me into my place because I was bouncing off the walls too much to even get off of his bike without falling over. =) It was fun, though. He is a bit hesitant about ever allowing me to have more than my share of sugar, caffiene, or alcohol ever again, but I was happy with the fact that my hyper-self made him laugh. It is great to hear him laugh and see that smile play across his lips. =)

I grow sleepy. After all, it is kind of early in the morning now. Good morning, NYC and I bid you a nice day while I sleep!! =) ... or try to... the sleeping pills prescribed are starting to work... kind of...
