So, I had an attack of the clevers, y'see. Jason was on hand on sunday to take lots of photos of me being manly in lycra, as witnessed by the numerous photos I linked to earlier this week. I was bemoaning the lack of any sort of split times in the times we were given, so I had no idea as to how I'd done in the individual components of the race.
Then it twigged that Jason's camera is especially spiff, and along with making you coffee in the mornings, timestamps all the photos it takes. Given that J took photos of me at most of the major transition points, I've been able to work out the following information:
Point in RaceTimestamp
Start07:02:12
Leaving pool07:05:35
Leaving T107:07:02
Entering t207:35:28
Finish07:54:29
From this I've extracted the the following:
SectionTime to CompleteDistance(km)Average speed(km/h)
Swim00:03:230.23.55
Run to T1 + T100:01:27N/AN/A
Cycle00:28:261531.65
T2 + Run00:19:01412.62
And the times even add up to my official finish time. Yay. Now if only I had this information for the first race, I'd be able to see if I'd improved...
[edit:] And in other news, I just worked out that tomorrow marks the seven month anniversary of Jason and I starting to train together (well, our first road run together)
